These floors meet Building Regulations Approved Document Part L, reaching U-values as low as 0.09 W/m2k. All floor designs are unique. SAP assessors require the U-values and Psi values which are unique to every design which we can provide. All floor designs include U values calculated at the quotation stage.
The EPS Psi Strip® is a thermal barrier strip that tackles heat loss at the critical junction between the floor and wall. Every joint is critical when it comes to heat loss and thermal bridging. That’s why GDeck is engineered to perform where others fall short – above and between the beams, and between the floor and wall, with no need to tape joints. GDeck GT09 can be incorporated as part of a Passive House fabric and to satisfy all air tightness requirements.
